  7. It means they release it too fast for the RTM and Update 1 and there is a fundamental problem in there that need to do a complete reinstall

  9. I've written my share of installers, and it does boil down to replacing files (possibly after killing processes), tweaking registry entries and reconnecting various bits and pieces.  A complete uninstall and reinstall for an update?  They should toss out the tool they use, Nick Hodges.
