Looking into converting a bunch of legacy apps from #BDE to #FireDAC and trying to use the "reFind" utility released since XE5 to help do this. Not having much joy though, as I've run into a stack overflow for the 2nd time in 2 days. The first one I ran into with version 2.5 (shipped in #XE5 Update 2 hotfix 4), turned out to be already fixed in the newer version 2.7.1 (shipped with #XE6 ).  However I've now run into the same problem (or, at least, the same message) again on a different file.   I've filed a QC about it, in case anyone's interested in looking or voting for it:  http://qc.embarcadero.com/wc/qcmain.aspx?d=124781 On my To Do list is also to have a further look at the #Mida converter to see if this is worth getting -- Does anyone have any experiences to share re the non-trial version of Mida and BDE conversion?   (The bundled/trial version doesn't support BDE to FireDAC conversion last time I checked, so I couldn't form any opinion ...

(True or False or False) = True. function TPSDConnectionMonitor.IsOnline: Boolean; var   cState: TPSDConnectionState; begin   Result := (Not OfflineStoreEnabled) or (Not Enabled) or IsOnline(cState); end; See the picture.   FOfflineStoreEnabled = False FEnabled = True IsOnline(cState) does an and between two states and returns False The expression  (Not OfflineStoreEnabled) or (Not Enabled) or IsOnline(cState) is (True) or (False) or False and Result is False! #WTF   Add extra paranthesis to the expression  ( (Not OfflineStoreEnabled) or (Not Enabled) or IsOnline(cState)) is ((True) or (False) or False) and Result is True as expected! Can someone make sense of this? #XE5

Hi, anyone with some experience on #Android and #iOS development with Delphi #XE5 can share some thoughts on it? I have a mobile project to put in production and I am wondering if I should go for Delphi, #CoronaSDK , or  Java and xcode (2 separate projects for iOS and Android).

#XE5 I fell loading my app is slower than other apps. Black screen for a while so it shows up. Is that because I am running a debug version?

Has anyone found out how to close an #XE5 app on #Android? It doesn’t seem to respond to the back button, Self.Close (I only have a single form), or even Application.Terminate: the app stubbornly remains in the air. The CloseQuery event does fire if I call Self.Close, and CanClose is set to True throughout.
