Don't be a #bluehead  - Update your profile!

It gives me a warm fuzzy feel to look at a face or an Avatar, instead of a blue head, when reading the discussions - and I have to say that I find it somewhat annoying that people don't bother to give up even just a little of themselves on their profile.

It looks like Google+ is here to stay, so why not make yourself at home?

No pressure, just do it ;)

  1. Honestly, I am annoyed by those that post under fake names too :P

  2. Sorry, my name and picture might be fake -- but at least I don't have a blue head :P

  3. Lars Fosdal Getting annoyed is worse for you than for them.

  4. Not really, because when I get annoyed enough - they get blocked - not from the Community, but from my personal view.  Then it's no longer my problem.

  7. I don't really worry about what other people think of me, because most of the time, they don't.

  8. At least I can recognize you in the lists of updates from the Delphi Community, Kevin Powick :)
Not so easy with the three blueheads I currently see.

  9. Lars Fosdal Oh, I agree that it's easier to identify individual posters.  I'm just not worried about what others think of me if I don't use a real name or an actual picture (btw, that is my actual picture).  Though I hope people find something useful in the content I post, I don't derive any sense of self- worth from the feedback of Internat acquaintances. My motive is simply contribution.

  10. Contribution is good.  Anonymity is overrated.

  11. It's only overrated until you are a victim due to lack of it.

  12. Lars Fosdal, did you really get a warm fuzzy feeling looking at my pic? Ouch...

  13. I much prefer a picture over no picture, Dany Marmur.
