Yes, I remember Delphi 1 very well. Coming from Borland Pascal 7 (DOS) and after playing a bit with "Turbo Pascal for Windows", Delphi 1 was a fantastic tool to create real Windows applications.
ReplyDeleteMy first project was to access the database of our ERP system, which resides on a HP3000 server, using an ODBC driver.

I had a huge TPW code base and I wasn't too thrilled about VCL and Delphi, but it grew on me :)
