Everyone should learn to program is no better and no worse a sentiment than saying "everyone should learn math" or "everyone should learn to bake bread". Our society is saturated with, and obsessed with technology. So I appreciate Danijel's point. I also think that the original article has a point. At no point in human history has so much economic wealth, so much food, and so much art and so much music, and so many bakers of bread and painters of paintings all been dependent on one thing, which is the machine we call the internet, the modern communications and technology based world we live in. So can we both avoid snarking back and forth at each other? Thanks.
