This is practical poll question, what would get you to buy a newer Delphi version?

What would you like to see most and foremost, and would most have a use for?

  1. Improvements to the IDE and Win32/64 performance and features
As much as I'd like Android and WinRT support - that is NOT where my bread and butter is, and there are other native tools available.

    Also:
    [x] Bug fixes
    [x] More bug fixes
    [x] All the bug fixes!

  2. "Improved language" would be the first on my list.

  3. Primož Gabrijelčič forgot that one, I've added it (will be at the bottom though)

  5. Lars Fosdal You've got to choose, can't have everything ;-)

  6. I was going to vote for improved IDE, Win32/Win64 and language support. Then not allowed to make multiple choice, I've voted for "Improved language", guess what - my vote was alone :)

  7. Eric Grange Actually you can, if you use multiple browsers ;)

  9. Cheap. Fast. Good. - Pick two, Ilya S ;)

  10. I'd like too, but I can't :) Also what about option on faster with new features or steadier with bug-fixes release cycle?

  11. Primož Gabrijelčič and there is a couple other ways as well, but shhh! Anyway if there is too much abuse, I'll purge the offenders ;-)

  12. Ilya S I may make future polls to clarify the winners, the list is already long :)

  13. You can remove one vote for "Improved IDE" as I also voted for "Improved Language support" when it later appeared.

  14. Support for Android (not for current projects, I'm interesting)

  15. Yet nobody wants revived Linux support in the first way. This is rather strange reminding how many voices were for it at XE4 announcement webinars.
UPD: there is one vote casted!

  16. 500$ instead of $1500 would trigger me to buy new version :)

  18. If EMB. Solve the situation with Bold I think they they would sell a couple of upgrade licenses for the team at my work. See http://www.change.org/petitions/embarcadero-technologies-release-the-intellectual-property-of-bold-for-delphi for more info
