I have recently thought about the future of Delphi and my personal choice for playing around at home. I would like to compare C# with Delphi.
What do you think, are the advantages of Delphi?
Honestly, the only advantage that comes into my mind is the fact that C# needs the .Net framework. But this one comes along with every Windows 7 PC, so it's not as bad as it was back in the XP times.

If you want a native Win32 experience and full performance of your solution on Windows, stick with classic Delphi. C# and .Net will never reach full native performance for those who want or need it. If you know and love C# already, fine. But there's no reason to switch to .Net at this late date in the game.
