    The one review of this book at Amazon wasn't very supportive.  Only gave the book 1/5 stars.

    IMHO si not a bad book. It is cheap, introductive, short, but no bad. Probably is 4/5 stars for the correct target. If you already know what messaging is, might be 3/5. Still depends by target.
