NexusDB Secure Pro Encryption Pack update and price drop
NexusDB is happy to introduce both a major update of the Secure Pro Encryption Pack add-on to our database product, and a significantly lower product cost.

There are 5 new encrypted transports to choose from, with different encryption methods and strengths:

The server web configuration interface can now support SSL, to enforce security of the configuration access.
New pricing:
Effective immediately, the Secure Pro add-on pack is now priced at only AUD 200. This price is so good, there is no excuse not to protect your client's databases and backups!
And of course, it is still part of The Full Monty Pack, the best money saving option for our customers when you need several of our products.
Due to the lowered cost of the Secure Pro edition, the two Secure Standard products in our product portfolio have been discontinued. Customers with active licenses of these products have been immediately upgraded to Secure Pro as a courtesy.
Please note:
The Blowfish ("nx1Default") encryption engine that is included in the standard NexusDB distribution is now deprecated. The reason is, this encryption engine is only reasonably safe for use on small datasets due to limitations in its implementation. If you require the use of encrypted tables, we strongly encourage you to choose appropriate engines from the Secure Pro pack.
