Sounds good but.. Yes, kind of doubtful too. Let's see how it goes. The thing that gives me real hope is that they built a native compiler for the ARM output. The system builds even the apk, ready to go. So they say. Looks promising at least.
Google discourages building native (JNI) apps for purposes other than gaming or cpu intensive chores. XE5 will build Android apps that always rely on a (code bloated) .so file.
