I wonder how many times we must to report same bugs in Embarcadero, because this the second time that I report the same bug that suppose it would be fixed in XE5, but the bug persist in XE5
I use Delphi 2007 in my daily work but have tried newer versions occasionally. Is the GUI in XE5 still that unresponsive for big projects (about 2,5 MLOC) ? In D2007 it can sometimes freeze 10-30 seconds . If they fixed that it would be a big motivation to upgrade at once!
Interresting, in what condition was the code ? Have it much dependencies with many uses between units? Unfortunately our application have much dependencies so I suspect that can be a reason for the slowness.

ReplyDeleteWell, i worked for a company where the client application was 3 mloc, and it was in Delphi XE. The code was very responsive.
