Has anyone linked a Delphi application to the BACS system in the UK .?

Background : I am looking at integrating BS1 Accounts into my Distribution and Production software to replace Sage

    Hi!

    BACS as far as I know refers to Direct Debit only.
    Am I wrong?

    No BACs is a way of making electronic transfers from one account to another through the banking system , mainly used to pay suppliers . In the UK cheques have all but disappeared from daily use

    There might be but .. to quote the BACS site

    'Only software solutions that have passed rigorous testing and approval processes are able to connect to Bacstel-IP and/or Secure-IP for Faster Payments.'

    It is  far easier to plug into an existing solution .. I am investigating the following software houses
