Can a Android Mobile Firemonkey App Open as quickly as a native Android App?

  1. Yes and no...the Firemonkey initialisation step is slow. You can compare those two projects:

  2. even with just a tbutton on a form, a FM app is slower to load than say an eclipse compiled app, I think you will find.
    maybe there is more optimisation coming for the next update of the compiler?
