JS XEPlusPack: Anyone running it? (VIRUS WARNING IN IT)
I installed it, fired up Delphi and my Anti-Virus popped up with a "Heuristic" warning that it found a virus. I've seen this happen, when a virus maker uses a component that a legit program uses and they share a code-section with the same signature.
I wanted to find out if anyone is running this, saw the same error and ignored it.

I'm not a fan of MS products, but Windows Defender is a very good one for a "free" one.
ReplyDeleteVin Colgin At work I use Symantec Enterprise (the exact name escapes me) $$$$! At home I use Norton 360 ($). I can't remember the last false-positive detection from either of them. Symantec gets a bit whiny about encrypted zip email attachments, but that is a network-admin setting. I work for a law enforcement company, so we are under constant electronic attack. :-)
