Anyone use Castalia? Delphi Feeds just showed that an update has been released, but it's not something I've ever used. How is it better than the Delphi IDE?

  1. I've used it before. In general it's refactoring tools work better than Delphi's built-in ones. They don't go brain dead when your code already has syntax errors. The with removal refactoring is nice.

  2. I've tried various editions over the years.  While the product and support are good, many of the features overlap with newer IDE versions, and other IDE plugins you may already use. e.g. GExperts, MMX, and cnPack IDE Wizards.

By the time I disabled all the overlapping functions, I was left with so little that, for me,  it wasn't worth purchasing.
