Does anybody know the difference between "Windows Desktop" and "Surface Pro"?

    This is just a guess:
    • Windows Desktop should be used for variable resolutions.
    • Surface Pro should be used for the specific resolution of the Surface Pro with High DPI setting enabled

    You can load a style on the Windows Desktop and then a different style on the Surface Pro. So basically I'd say the Surface Pro setting will know it's on a Surface Pro and you can change the interface accordingly.
