Regarding #XE7 and #HighDPI: This is how the IDE looks at 144 dpi (150%) screen by default. It's blurry and isn't fun to look at for hours (trust me I tried). You can disable Window's own scaling in the compatibility settings (right click on bds.exe). Than you get an IDE which scales itself but leaves a lot unscaled and/or cropped. But the editor is more es less useable.
