I found this piece of code in Datasnap.DSReflect.pas unit of XE7:

I found this piece of code in Datasnap.DSReflect.pas unit of XE7: 
  TDSAdapterClassType = type of TDSAdapterClass;

Does anybody know what this "type of" thing means? Is it an alias for "class of" or something more?
