Hi. I've got a problem with oracle 12 data base client drivers for Embarcadero XE7. When i trying connect to DB by TSQLConnection control i'm always get an error :
"TDBXError: DBX Error: Driver could not be properly initialized. Client library may be missing, not installed properly, of the wrong version, or the driver may be missing from the system path".
FireDAC connection give me:
[FireDAC][Phys][Ora]-1309. OCI is not properly installed on this machine (NOE1/INIT)
error, but oracle client was installed by oracle installator, installacion completed correctly
("Oracle clent" was installed)
Please help, any thoughts!!!

ReplyDeleteIs anybody knows, how to install 32bit oracle client? When I'm trying to to install it, installator always closes on files copy stage.
Got the same problem here: Brand new win8.1 x64 with XE7. I installed the 32bit Oracle 12 client, and also get the above mentioned error (1309). Can't find any solution for this problem, because most of the seemingly related google finds are more than six years old. :(
ReplyDeleteGood news! Oracle has released a newer version of the client sowftware. Try downloading it again, it worked fine for me.
