I use Camtasia for all my videos. Bought myself a license last year.
ReplyDeleteSimon Stuart Animated GIFs are effing annoying tbh (except when containing cute animals! :p). I remember some weeks ago when some of your posts were at the top of this community I was permanently distracted by the animated preview image when I had the browser open on the second screen. So in the end I scrolled down so it was not visible anymore.
ReplyDeleteStefan Glienke I was one of the first to complain, for the same reason. Credit Simon with being very receptive to the comments, and removing the offending GIFs.
ReplyDeleteSimon Stuart Don't misunderstand me. I don't only dislike them as previews for links. I also dislike them in articles because they loop endlessly. During the entire stay on such article they keep repeating over and over. So for demonstrating things I still prefer videos because you can actively start and stop them.
