This is the last week to Tweet for Delphi in the contest. It is simple to do it, just tweet “Delphi #code2014” to get your vote counted. You can see the current rankings here: http://www.code2014.com/ It is only counting on Twitter, but if everyone Tweets this on the accounts they manage it will really help move Delphi up in the ranks!

  1. I wonder, what do people write in Haskell?

  2. CHUA Chee Wee I figure that there is hardly any tweet for #code2014  Delphi from Asia. Can you motivate some? Six more tweets to catch up with Scala.

  3. Why did everyone tweet "Delphi"? Shouldn't you tweet "Object Pascal"? :)

  4. Well -yes - maybe - but ObjectPascal was not tweeted that much already. You could patch their code http://hybridgroup.com/blog/2015/01/02/what-is-code2014.html#.VKxAcyuG98E to build the right cluster ... Object Pascal, Lazarus, Delphi etc.

  5. Strange about Asia. I recall that atozed:a elaborate licensing scheme got about because of a massive pirating of early IW mainly in China. But I'm far from sure about that. Feel free to correct me on that.

  6. Dany Marmur Never heard that. Maybe. I think the asian users are not into twitter.

  7. So, something a student / professor could have fun with, but not something that you create applications, that others would use, in.

  8. Lars Fosdal , i have not had the time to get into such languages. So those of us who live will see, i assume.

When i had a look at some noSQL databases it struck me as almost the same as SQL under the hood but for people who do not write SQL statements and do not want to use ObjectToSQL tools (which imho generally sucks). But i transgress and i need to skedaddle along now...
