IDE Key Mapping Nightmare!  I use Ctrl + Home or Ctrl + End fairly frequently to go to the beginning/end of a file.  But these key sequences were clobbered by a 3rd Party tool.  No amount of research has found a way for me to restore these key maps. Hey I've loaded Castalia, Bookmarks, GExperts, CnPack & DDevExtension.  Any way to fix this in the XE7 IDE?

  1. If you go into GExperts and use the IDE Menu Shortcut tool and hit that keystroke, does it not show you the item that uses that hotkey combination? I have used GExperts in this way just this week to find a keystroke that CnPack sets by default which clobbered one I had set in GExperts itself.

  2. Much obliged to David Millington , Nicholas Ring & Kerry Sanders . All of your suggestions were very informative.  The solution is however borderline embarrassing and I owe an apology for casting aspersions on the 3rd party tool authors.
SOLUTION:  When in Delphi XE7 [Tools|Options|Editor Options|Key Mapping] the seemingly innocuous list of "Key mapping modules:" is important.  If you leave this dialog  after simply highlighting one of the other maps (not changing its order or anything else) it will give precedence to that map.  Selecting the [Default] mapping at the top solved all problems!  OOooops ;)
