Is there anywhere a clear explanation of how to install third-party help files into the XE7 IDE? I've found many links, mostly to articles with many more links, but I am not looking for a research project, just a solution.

  1. It has definitely become a project. I spent some time with it yesterday. It turns out the RAD Studio help is still there, but the Filters for the dropdown were all gone. After a few minutes this morning, I figured out the problem. You have to register the original filters. Now the filters are correct for all document sets, but only RAD Studio  is showing on the Contents tab.

  2. I did this so years ago back in the old days, totally screwed up my Delphi Help System because I wanted to make it easier to bring up 3rd party help files.  It was a mess and turned into a full day instead of a 20 minute job.  As I stated before I put shortcuts on the desktop if I really need the 3rd party help.

  3. Kerry Sanders To my way of thinking, this is an area which should have been addressed either as a part of the IDE, or by each of the third party vendors. I'd vote for the former, as a single implementation would better serve Delphi users.
