Which lightweight markup language?
Currently looking at a text markup to standardize on, first looked at markdown, then realized there is not one markdown, there are dozens of them... Even between major sites, like github & stackoverflow, they already forked the language and are not fully compatible anymore...
MediaWiki is a bit ugly/complex, but it's a de-facto standard, and the huge amount of content written in it means it is unlikely to ever face "bit rot".
Is there something that would have the elegance of markdown and the stability of MediaWiki? Existing implementation in Delphi would be a plus, but not necessary.
