With XE6 and XE7 I use this REDIS client https://github.com/danieleteti/delphiredisclient . It's not complete but it's relatively easy to add the missing commands. Maybe you could try to compile the demo under XE2, just to be sure it's OK also with that version (I'm not sure if it - really - wants something present only in latest versions of Delphi ;) )
