Anywhere else to download a newer version of Sampling Profiler that supports Delphi XE7?

    Eric Grange once told me that this version supports up to the latest version of Delphi (its just the search paths missing in the UI).

     Taking into consideration how the / a spp works, it should be able to do so. It is also able to intercept calls to OS routines or dlls. A big disadvantage, on the other hand, is the low sampling frequency, so you need very many samples (repetitive calls) on modern PCs to acquire good results. Especially when you have a high granularity in your CPU time distribution.

    Cesar Romero Yes, FPC can generate map files - just tested on FreeBSD. If the map file is compatible with Delphi - that is another question. FPC can also generate output for the Valgrind profiler, gprof profiler (select platforms only) and external gdb debug symbols. I don't know if any of this is useful to the Sampling Profiler tool though.
