Hi

Hi
Does anyone has a problem in searching for updates in the EDN Registered User Downloads?
Or is it my problem in how to find the latest update / patches from there?
There is no last date updated nor is it sort chronologically.
Please advise

thanks
chris

  1. Known. Frustrating. Not much you can do right now than manually search and keep track of them.

  2. I agree, the search is not the greatest.  I have sent numerous emails to the big guys about the EDN being outdated (was used with Codegear / Borland / Inprise).

Your best bet is to keep show to ALL and select a separate package to look up any new updates.

I feel that the very least:

    1. The ability to search by date is a simple modification.
    2. The web site was done in a .NET, wait until you do a search and get an access violation.
    3. Only the products I purchased should be part of the entire search area, let's face it, the link is written MY registered user downloads, so if i never purchased a product it should be simply filtered out.  Makes sense.
    4. Finally the SSL is outdated based on security standards.  A major company like EMB should not have this issue at this stage.

So it is not you but EMB lagging behind on updating the web service.
