You can say it, unless you are under NDA. But Seattle is just a code name, most likely related to Windows 10.
ReplyDeleteIf it is more than code name, then, well, uh....
Dalija Prasnikar Seems you can also say it when you are the webmaster at Embarcadero: https://www.embarcadero.com/de/products/rad-studio (scroll down)
ReplyDeleteDalija Prasnikar It seems the complete name is RAD Studio 10 Seattle :D
ReplyDeleteCombined with the new demos branch on SourceForge mentioned https://plus.google.com/u/0/+AchimKalwa/posts/j1EqyiiKBJr I already observed the Seattle part and wondered about the 10 part of an upcoming Norwegian Delphi seminar. Thanks guys: Nice blog post coming up (:
ReplyDeleteNow back to doing some electricity work so the UPS can power some computing stuff on the op floor of my house...
Actually, I could not care less how it is named, all I care about is what it can do.
ReplyDeleteDalija Prasnikar It seems Task Continuation and Cancellation Token support won't come with RAD Studio 10 Seattle ( or RAD Studio RX? :O ) :(
ReplyDeleteHorácio Filho You know that you can do continuation with it, do you? http://delphisorcery.blogspot.de/2015/02/extending-parallel-programming-library.html
ReplyDeleteStefan Glienke I loved your example, pretty amazing as any thing you do :D
ReplyDeleteJeroen Wiert Pluimers At http://embarcadero.qcomgroup.com.tw/resources.html we can find "RAD Studio 10 Seattle" :D
ReplyDeleteAs posted https://plus.google.com/u/0/104660942073125276831/posts/VhDKtYjKhza here, http://docwiki.embarcadero.com/RADStudio/Seattle/en/Main_Page is up and running...
ReplyDeleteLots of interesting stuff to read here.
ReplyDelete4Gb memory space - how many 3rd party plugins will break on this change?

Lars Fosdal Since they would need to be compiled for the IDE, hopefully the developer will correct any issues before releasing...
ReplyDeleteIf there are lots of bugs in this release that cause one to be up all night dealing with them, can I make a joke about being left sleepless in Seattle?
ReplyDeleteJoseph Mitzen It's too early for that... Keep it for later ;-)
