I am still considering a community IDE/Compiler buyout ... or at least I am collecting people that would have a general interest in such an endeavour ... no matter how vague it might be at the moment ...

Nick Hodges This sounds like a wonderful sign. The previous owner of Delphi had no real connection to its customers, including hosting a forum it didn't post in or even really moderate. If they're starting to take an interest at the top in communicating with the customers that can only be a good thing. I remember when they switched to a 6 month release cycle the only place this info appeared was tucked into a personal post on David I's blog. Active interest in more formal communication would be a good thing.
Is this a sign of some job related change happening, Allen Bauer ?
