Incredibly useful! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteGreat Marco! Thank you very much
ReplyDeleteThe idea is to collect all blog posts and information (including developers information) that can help supporting newer platforms, not available at the time the product was released. Or any platform change that might cause issues. BTW, it is not my idea, David Intersimone pushed a lot for and Luis Navarro and others in the doc team made it happen.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! Thanks to all that worked on getting it done.

ReplyDeleteThanks, that is very useful. It has been frustrating in the past, as every new version of OS X, X code or iOS could cause problems.
ReplyDeleteWhy do you drop support for MacOS 10.6? A lot of our customers still uses this OS. Change two lines to bring it back. Reported in Feb. 2015: https://quality.embarcadero.com/browse/RSP-10754
ReplyDeleteThe newer bugreport is https://quality.embarcadero.com/browse/RSP-10279
ReplyDeleteDirk Carstensen Not that simple. There are other platform APIs we use not supported in 10.6. And without specific QA focus and effort, we won't even know.
ReplyDeleteVery useful thanks Marco Cantù
ReplyDeletethats nice Marco
ReplyDeleteSpend less time setting up a wiki listing workarounds, and spend more time fixing the actual problems. Just my thoughts.
ReplyDeleteGraeme Geldenhuys Don't be like that. Both need to happen. Having a list of workaround is massively useful. even better would be a github with source patches so we can get RTL bugfixes as they happen.
