Some groups have turned to membership by approval only - i.e. you can apply for membership, and then a moderator have to approve you. I'd prefer to not go there - but if this doesn't let up - I'll have to consider it.
Bill Meyer Oliver Münzberg We are all equal here. If girls can code and wear bikinis then there is no reason why guys cannot code and wear bikinis, too. And now I need one (blindfold, I mean)
I think if this topic gets any more serious, Lars Fosdal will have to implement an approval process, including what the person's avatar looks like... :-D
Ops, deleted two miss called "!" and wearing bikini... so we are back to 6664.
ReplyDeleteMarco Cantù Never mind, we'll get there again :)
ReplyDeleteYep. Seems ! is a popular name on Google+. I deleted another 50 from an Embarcadero forum...
ReplyDeleteSpammers are the scourge of the Internet...
ReplyDeleteMarco Cantù seems someone could write an app for that.
ReplyDeleteMarco Cantù I know the name of one bikini girl:
ReplyDeleteSpamela Anderson :o)
Could someone please ban Oliver Münzberg for 24 hours... That was terrible :-D
ReplyDeleteNicholas Ring For sure it was, but I could not resist ;o)
ReplyDeleteDarn. Down to 6663. I wrote next milestone 9999 not -9999
ReplyDeleteDalija Prasnikar Just apply ABS() to it - see, easy fixed ;-)
ReplyDeleteGood, but we need more real milestoun: 7777 for example
ReplyDelete6667. Seems like the spammers are back! ;-)
ReplyDelete/8888
ReplyDeleteAlexandre Machado Don't be like that. I am sure those are real Delphi users :)
ReplyDeleteLars Fosdal I see plenty of ! girls in Delphi iOS & Android Developers, plus you have some spam posts there.
ReplyDeleteI try to clean them out once or twice each day. Typically, I report & ban 8-12 per day per group. It sucks.
ReplyDeleteLars Fosdal I guess this kind of thing goes along with having popular community :)

ReplyDeleteDalija Prasnikar Just because a girl wears a bikini doesn't mean she isn't a Delphi developer. ;)
ReplyDeleteBill Meyer Am I now expected to change avatar just to prove your point???
ReplyDeleteDalija Prasnikar Expected? No. Invited? ;)
ReplyDeleteBill Meyer I am not sure if I can pass as girl (age related) anymore ;-)
ReplyDeleteDalija Prasnikar You will always be a Delphi girl. ;)
ReplyDeleteJust don't prepend an exclamation point to your name!
If this will turn into a delphi-developer-bikini-contest ... I hope I will remember where I put mine ... :o)
ReplyDeleteNow I need a blindfold!
ReplyDeletetry
ReplyDeleteIdol := TSexObject.Create;
except
on ENaked
do Self.Blindfold;
end;
Would I get banned if I said mankini ? ;-)
ReplyDeleteNicholas Ring No, you get invited to update your avatar :o)
ReplyDeleteOliver Münzberg I can see the need soon for a filter on avatars....
ReplyDeleteBill Meyer Oliver Münzberg We are all equal here. If girls can code and wear bikinis then there is no reason why guys cannot code and wear bikinis, too. And now I need one (blindfold, I mean)
ReplyDeleteDalija Prasnikar We are not all equally pleasing to the eye. ;)
