    Asbjørn Heid if you have several readers and only occasional writers, SRW locks perform much better than critical sections, yes.

    I've published my benchmark application in EMBT forums (link was there too: https://www.delphitools.info/2013/12/09/slim-multi-read-single-write-locks/) but it points to a non existing thread now. I'm not sure I still have that application.
