The AVAST antivirus seems freezes the computer when compiling with Delphi a certain number of times.
I changed my antivirus AVIRA and I have more problem.

Symantec Norton as of today is Norton Security and it runs fine on the Windows 10 Professional machine I have and has stopped numerous viruses.
ReplyDeleteIt is usually outside agents that are the danger when you least expect it so that is where you have to be careful.
For the people that are not part of a corporate environment and do not have any knowledge how it works you are restricted on downloads and must have a corporate anti-virus package. Windows Defender does not cut it.
Jacek Laskowski from my experience Delphi compilation is a little faster in VM and I do not see any performance degradation in my work.
ReplyDeleteMaybe because in VM I install only Delphi and some tools like WinRAR and SQLite Expert that I need there.
And of course a CPU with Intel VT.
On the host machine I use ESET.
