Actually, I have a similar issue with one client using our software having 42 odd tabs. Ok on most screens but not all users are equal in terms of screen size. These things grow bigger than the original design. We have a few solutions in mind. Different login profiles that load specific tabs of interest, pop out tree view, drill down image list to get views of interest........just some ideas, I'm sure you have more....interested to hear your solution
