  2. Interesting "if the result is shit"... A couple of weeks ago, just for fun, I created a custom TDictionary class, something to be used in place of a TDictionary, shared among a D7 and a XE2 project. It uses 1/2 memory and is 20% faster than the .NET class. Funny how a .NET class can be still slower than a 15+ years Delphi compiler...

  3. A. Bouchez​​ I have been able to avoid such things quite a lot, but as times are changing it seems I'll be in that PITA situation more and more. I'm going to call a guy who's interested in buying my hours, the projects are coded and maintained in Visual C++ 6. It is a prereq from the client to NOT migrate ANYTHING. Might be fun...
