I know it's deprecated and frowned on like crazy but I really need TClientSocket installing in my Delphi 10.1 Berlin. Where do I get it from ? Or is it still somewhere in the libraries on my hard disk ?
Ondrej Kelle I think I am supposed to build and install a Delphi package; I think I did that before on Seattle. I should say I need both TClientSocket and TServerSocket
NP Guys I went hunting on the Wiki, found it for Seattle and just replaced Seattle with Berlin in the URL edit box and hit return whilst crossing fingers ;-) Anyhow, heres the link for anyone who wants it:
ScktCmp.pas, if I remember correctly ;-)

ReplyDeleteTony Danby In that case, search in *.dpk files for ScktCmp - if not found, you could simply create and install a new package.
ReplyDeleteSearching ....
ReplyDeleteRandy Sill ScktComp, you're right, sorry
ReplyDeleteSearching again .... ;-)

ReplyDeleteJust copy the files from Seattle into a new folder, load the dpk in Berlin, adjust the Libsuffix, compile and install :-)
