  1. I get a 404 on that link. Is it publicly accessible?

  2. Perhaps it is not available in all regions yet?

  3. I can access spaces, but I get the same 404 with your link. It looks like you posted the direct link to the site. Try to use the invite - copy link feature instead.

  4. As there is no statement I can find about visibility or security,. other than the mechanics of inviting people, assume all content is ultimately public.

  5. Lars Fosdal I can access Spaces, just not the space you linked. Uwe mentioned an invitation link; could you post that instead please?

  6. Bill Meyer You are probably right. At least I can restrict access by keeping invitations private. Perhaps I get a note when someone joins my space with this invitation. Didn't try.

  7. A side note, I find needing special links an annoying trend. For example, I laughed at Uwe Raabe's comment "It looks like you posted the direct link to the site." - posted the direct link! Hah! What a rookie mistake, posting a link and thinking it'll work. Hah... sob

At the very least it could say, "You don't have permission to see this Space; request an invitation" with a button, and you click it, and Lars gets notified and says yes, and now you can see it. But an URL that mysteriously works for one person but not another is just... not good design.

  8. David Millington maybe because that would leak information that the url exists

Magno Lima looks to me it wants to target the same demographic as snapchat or telegram

  9. I'll remove my Spaces posts from the group as they are really waaay off topic.

  10. It seems I can't remove my own posts...

  11. Mentions not possible in spaces. Not quite sure I see the purpose - except from not requiring a Google+ profile.

  12. Lars Fosdal I say it's targeted at Telegram users and people that do not want to be easily tracked... aka spouse cheaters, conspiracy groups, terrorists and black market traffic :)

  13. Eric Grange - Sounds like a reasonable target market :D
