    Skype desktop (which built with Delphi) have been working smoothly since the beginning, while the one built in Windows 8 and later was not working very well.

    You have seen nothing yet! Install Skype for Business and cry! A complete piece of junk.
    That's the old MS back in town: buy something and keep destroying it little by little over the years, until it gets discontinued.
