  1. Nice, but is there any version history of a package in GetIt ?

I mean, sometime a deprecated feature, or code refactoring can make the package incompatible with the project...

What about projects from earlier version of Delphi ?

And sometime you have to take the Github release anyway :/

  2. About updating the entries, we had a lag and now starting to back fill it.

The versioning issue is a good one we'd like to support and trying to come up with a good open-ended solution for.

  3. I guess to resolve the project dependencies the packages will be installed globally, right?

  4. Oliver Münzberg I guess into $(BDSCatalogRepository).

  5. Uwe Raabe so a project dependency (local) will change the installed components of the user IDE (global) - I hope everyone is aware of that (with an eye on the maybe coming versioning)
