  1. It claims to be "world-class", and then says it runs on JavaScript.

This makes me very skeptical right off the bat.

  2. Mason Wheeler you can't dismiss something just because it's js, if you were to use it for something more complex on the web, you'll learn to appreciate it's flexibility and power, and yes, you can write beautiful and readable code in it

  3. Dorin Duminica "1995 - Brendan Eich reads up on every mistake ever made in designing a programming language, invents a few more, and creates LiveScript. Later, in an effort to cash in on the popularity of Java the language is renamed JavaScript. Later still, in an effort to cash in on the popularity of skin diseases the language is renamed ECMAScript."

  4. Mason Wheeler how does that have anything to do with the fact that JS is here, it's used, useful and powerful?!

  5. Mason Wheeler citing someone else blog doesn't make you less ignorant. This blog post is as it claims - incomplete and wrong. The mentioned framework is based on C and Javascript engine is also written in C. In this project JS is just a automation language. It used to be Basic or VB but time changed... Maybe you can find this more inspiring https://davidwalsh.name/typescript

  6. I think in principle it would work fine. In practise it won't understand the Delphi x86 calling convention. It also won't be able to understand any Delphi debug info. If indeed it ever used debug info.

  7. Mason Wheeler Ignorant prejudice isn't a very becoming trait. Your comments here are embarrassing.
