    I remember buying a 9pin monochrome dot-matrix from OKI for $400. Now I can get a color laser for that price.

    The Apple //e which I bought in 1983 is still my most expensive computer by far. I paid 5000 DM, which is around 2500€. Now take the inflation since 1983 into account...

    Lars Fosdal but a dot matrix printer might still cost 400 euros.
    (Actually it's arround 200 to 300 Euros, we recently bought one.)
