I'm not using DDecExtensions but was playing around with the Undocked layout as well as the Form Designer option 'Embedded Designer' across two monitors. I tried to set up my dev environment so that my form, Object Inspector and Tool Pallet are all on one screen and my code on the other. I figured it out .. the tool palette was both places (still as a tab AND as a toolbar). Just had to switch off the toolbar. Only saw it still as a tabsheet when I openend up a new app. Thanks all

Did you by chance select the classic undocked layout? Then just select another one and you should be fine again.
