March, 2016? That's doesn't sound the right version, we have a new version with Update 2. Just to check, the version you installed was copied from the PAServer macOS package in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Embarcadero\Studio\18.0\PAServer folder?
ReplyDeleteWhat version of macOS are you using? We have known issues with Sierra.
I have double checked the Paserver pkg.
ReplyDeleteIt is from the actual Berlin folder.
And i'm on Sierra
These is the Message at Startup:
ReplyDeletePlatform Assistant Server Version 9.0.2.03
Copyright (c) 2009-2016 Embarcadero Technologies, Inc.
Same problem for me here (9.0.2.03). Seems that this known issue has not been fixed. Unusable for MacOS development? Ouch..
ReplyDeleteWe do have some known issues with Sierra, but we're on them.
ReplyDeleteDavid Millington But what do you mean with "Improved iOS 10 and macOS Sierra support" then if debugger crashes on startup?
ReplyDeleteDirk Carstensen It crashes in an improved way.
ReplyDeleteUwe Raabe Yeah, thats it :-)
ReplyDelete9.0.2.03 is from Update 1, so if that's what it is reporting, it has either not been updated, or the version info wasn't
ReplyDeleteDavid Nottage to be sure i have extracted it again from the "fresh" install of Update2. Still 9.0.2.03 so it is the old one
ReplyDeleteI have the same PAServer version
ReplyDeleteSo what is the actual new PAServer version for Upd2? Everyone seems to be reporting 9.0.2.03
ReplyDeleteFor me this is a showstopper. I'm not only on Delphi also working with Xcode etc.. (and i need Sierra) How long should we wait for a fix? The marketing from Embarcadero is fine..... but the Product? Sometimes i feel really bad. I love Delphi! On board since TP 3.0 but the way they handle problems is.... These problem exist since Sierra comes out. I have the feeling that the Mac support is not on a 1. level. Sorry I'm angry at moment because i should work an my problems and around problem from others. at moment i'm doing prints on the terminal to see what is going on
ReplyDeleteFriedrich Westermann I understand. I can tell you we're working on it.
