I recognize that banning is harsh, so I apologize.
We can complain about new developers being lazy and not knowing how to debug, to ask proper questions, to investigate issues,..
But if we are not pointing out bad questions so they can improve and learn the skill, how could possibly everything else change? That make both sides culprit
Agustin Ortu Improving question quality is a good thing, but there will always be new faces that need the initial mentoring. A little nudge in the right direction, beats getting shoved away by the face. So, if you see fit to answer a stupid question, your answer should preferably be helpful in teaching about the need for context and details.
