" Your points don't stand, sorry, you are just making them up."

There's a difference between being wrong or mistaken and just making things up.

    >Sarina was in the RAD Studio PM team
    >before I joined

Which no one knew before she was publicly announced as heading up Appmethod.

     > Appmethod was just a different
    >personality, not a different product

I understand this, but Embarcadero referred to her as the Appmethod Product Manager numerous times:

    https://www.embarcadero.com/press-releases/appmethod-webinar-to-showcase-the-fastest-android-development-with-c

"Sarina DuPont, Senior Product Manager, Appmethod"

Heck, there they even referred to you as "Marco Cantu, Senior Product Manager, Enterprise Mobility Services"

We also meet a "Director of Application Development Products". I'm going to say again... that's a lot of management.

    > So I stand with what I said, you are
    >spreading FUD based on false statements.

FUD is "Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt". I said there was a lot of management. That's a matter of opinion, not a "false statement".

    >Moreover, Product Managers are not R&D
    >directors, they don't manage the dev team,

So what you're saying is that there's even more management than I thought? :-)

    >the role is completely different (PM
    >manage the product overall -- bridging the
    >marketing and sales side with the R&D
    >side),

Thank you for that explanation, although again to me it seems that as noted there is overlap between this and the actual marketing and sales managers.

Could you explain where Nick Hodges now fits into all of this?

    > so again you are commenting on the
    >internal company organization based on a
    >total lack of understanding of the roles.

Why is there a total lack of understanding of the roles though? When Embarcadero puts out a notice saying Nick Hodges has joined the company as "Product Management Lead", a generic term, and doesn't elaborate at all, it's not my fault it's not clear what he's going to be doing.

    >And drawing conclusions not based on
    >facts...

...based on what can be seen from the outside. Many other languages don't seem to have this level of hierarchical management.

This was from a statement a few years ago from a developer on the Delphi team. Perhaps he was referring to John Thomas; I don't know.
