Note that if you check the "add online repositories" option in the GUI installer near the beginning of the install, this will pull in updates during the install and you won't need to run an update after the install is complete. It's also obviously the safer option in case any of those updates patch vulnerabilities.

Joseph Mitzen I did use the net-install so I did expected to get updates - but very helpful info - Thanks :-)
