    I totally disagree. First, this will be a breaking change, making a lot of Delphi applications to fail -- method pointers and method references are not compatible. Second context capture of an anonymous method is more expensive than a plan method pointer.
    You are free to add event handlers defined as anonymous methods, this has been demonstrated many times.

    I don't see how it can be done in the IDE...DFM need a named method to bind the property to the corresponding code.
