    This announcement prompts me to ask what may be the current best solution for using FMX with VCL in XE7. And I prefer not to use a DLL.

    As someone that just implemented a PDF engine for Free Pascal, I can appreciate the effort that goes into a PDF generator library like that.

    Just curious, will VCL ever see that PDF generator too? The one I developed in FPC was specifically designed so it is totally non-gui (no dependencies on any GUI toolkit), so we can use it in a headless server environment (think report generator on a web server).

    Graeme Geldenhuys Actually, in response to a query of mine, Bruno Fierens said that a VCL version is coming, though perhaps not before year end.
