  1. Thanks for the additional info. We are aware of these kinds of PDFs. Currently it is not supported, but we are working in this area currently. So, more samples will definitely help. Thanks!

  2. Dany Marmur, StarDocs does not yet support filling of Dynamic PDF forms. We do have it on our road map and should have the feature in a few months. Right now the document viewer supports filling static PDF forms. The filled data can be saved back to the PDF file, printed, or submitted to a server. Field validation, simple formatting and calculations are supported.

Regarding DOC and DOCX formats, they can only be viewed and no interactivity is currently supported.

  3. This matches my research. I can create Dynamic forms using a combination of "Designer" and "Acrobat DX" (registrered both). My client did not feel comfortable with forcing users to use Reader 7 and up for filling. Must be on-line. I remember seeing other online alternatives, but none to my satisfaction. Seems that the capability most used for this has been based on the NPAPI clientside and that is going away (a good thing in itself). However, the current project will center around client-manipulatable "locked" docx files. But for the future you might very well be king if you can supply a solution where users can fill in dynamic PDF forms on-line. I'll scare up some dynamic form and e-mail as above anyway but it will not be snappy (have some other things to do atm).
