Not so funny that it ditched like 30 minutes of work without saving.

  1. Blame third party that installs any files into the bds installation dir. I never had this problem since all third party we use is in some git repository or different folder.

  2. Been there 30 years ago ... trained myself to press Ctrl+S approximately once per line of code ... and yes, Emba's license checking mechanisms suck.

  3. Stefan Glienke Have no 3rd party stuff in BDS, still got that error yesterday. Notebook was coming out of standby, RAD Studio hiccuped and killed itself.

  4. Primož Gabrijelčič ah, the standby thing. I forgot about that. Wasn't the case here: pretty clean Delphi setup, just Delphi overwriting parts of itself when doing refactoring stuff.

  6. Dalija Prasnikar I have this problem when editing text in a browser (or in some comment form like this one) - for some reason "Save As" dialog keeps popping up all the time :)
